UNCG’s School of Music, Theatre and Dance provides comprehensive performing arts education and training with degree programs in Music, Theatre and Dance. The School hosts five academic departments: Music Education, Music Performance, Music Studies, Theatre and Dance. 

With diverse backgrounds, the School of Music, Theatre and Dance's 790 undergraduate students, 271 graduate students, and 135 faculty and staff members collaborate—often across disciplines—to produce compelling work. With more than 300 concerts, recitals, plays, master classes, dance performances, and productions a year, performance is central to UNCG’s curriculum.
