I-85 South & I-40 West (these merge near Durham)
Take Exit 131 Greensboro (more like a split) onto I-85 south Business
Go 3.2 miles to new Exit 41 "E. Lee St." (also called old Exit 128 E. Lee St.) Continue to the right onto E. Lee Street for 4.1 miles to Tate Street - stay in right lane after you pass Eugene Street. (If you see the Greensboro Coliseum, you’ve gone too far.)
Turn right onto Tate Street (there is a parking lot behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum on the corner of Spring Garden & Tate, and, the Aycock Auditorium, Taylor Theatre, and the Brown Building Theatre are 1.5 blocks down Tate St. toward the business district)
OR For parking closer to the Music Bldg., continue on with the following directions:
Go .4 mile ahead to Carr Street (you'll pass Aycock Auditorium)
Turn left onto Carr Street
Go 1 block and turn right onto McIver Street
Go 1 block and turn left into McIver Street Parking Deck (at the Music Bldg.)

I-85 North
Take Exit 120 "Greensboro" more like a "split" in I-85 than an exit.
Then, you'll go 2.2 miles to the next exit, 35B.
Take Exit 35B (also called Exit 122B!) - North 220 & I-40 Coliseum Area
The ramp is a circular loop, merge onto Rt 220 North & Future I-73 North
Go 1.9 miles to Lovett Street (Lovett Street is just beyond the stoplight at
Coliseum Blvd. - after stoplight, get in left turn lane)
Turn left onto Lovett Street (the street changes names to S. Aycock Street)
To continue on to Theatre locations, follow these directions:
Turn left on Spring Garden Street. Turn right on Tate Street, and park in the parking lot behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum (corner of Spring Garden and Tate). Aycock Auditorium, Taylor Theatre, and the Brown Building Theatre are 1.5 blocks down Tate Street (toward business district).
OR To continue on to Music locations, follow these directions:
Go 1.2 miles to Lee Street, go straight across Lee Street (passing Wendy's on your left)
Continue ahead for .7 miles (through 2 more lights), get into right lane after passing Walker Avenue
Exit to right on Market Street East - Downtown (a ramp)
Merge onto East Market Street and continue for .4 miles, stay in right lane & turn right onto McIver Street
(You'll see the UNCG Music Building site on your right! Immediately after the Music Building, turn right onto McIver Street)
Go one block and take first right turn into the brick UNCG Parking Garage.

I-40 East
Take second Wendover Avenue Exit-214B (makes a clockwise loop)
Turn right on Wendover and continue 1.9 miles to Spring Garden Street exit
At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Spring Garden Street
To continue on to Theatre locations, follow these directions:
Turn right on Tate Street, and park in the parking lot behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum (corner of Spring Garden and Tate). Aycock Auditorium, Taylor Theatre, and the Brown Building Theatre are 1.5 blocks down Tate Street (toward business district).
OR To continue on to Music locations, follow these directions:
Follow Spring Garden Street for 2.5 miles to edge of UNCG Campus
Turn left on Aycock Street at light and continue ahead for .5 miles
(through 1 more light), get into right lane after passing Walker Avenue
Exit to right on Market Street East (a ramp)
Merge onto East Market Street and continue for .4 miles, stay in right lane & turn right onto McIver Street
(You'll see the UNCG Music Building site on your right! Immediately after the Music Building, turn right onto McIver Street)
Take first right turn into the brick UNCG.

From the North on Highway 220 (Eden, Martinsville, Roanoke, Virginia)
US 220 South
US 220 South becomes Battleground Ave. in Greensboro
Stay in the right lane
Eventually, Battleground takes a left bend across the railroad tracks, but you
should instead stay right and take the Westover Terrace exit
(you'll actually continue straight ahead in the right lane)
Westover Terrace passes Grimsley H.S. and the street name changes to
Aycock Street (you continue straight ahead)
After passing Grimsley H.S., continue on Aycock Street about .9 miles to the stoplight at Spring Garden (get into the left turn lane!)
Turn left at light onto Spring Garden
Go straight for .5 miles to Tate Street (Aycock Auditorium on left)
Turn left on Tate Street (and park in the parking lot behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum on the corner of Spring Garden and Tate, and, the Aycock Auditorium, Taylor Theatre, and the Brown Building Theatre are 1.5 blocks down Tate St. toward the business district)
OR For parking closer to the Music Bldg., continue on with the following directions:
Go 2 blocks and turn left onto Carr Street
Go 1 block and turn right onto McIver Street
Go one block and take first right turn into the brick UNCG Parking Garage.

From Highway 220 North, follow the signs to the Coliseum area. Turn left at the stoplight onto Coliseum Boulevard.
Follow for approximately 1.5 miles and turn right at third stoplight onto Spring Garden Street.
Turn left onto Tate Street (and park in the parking lot behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum on the corner of Spring Garden and Tate for the Aycock Auditorium, Taylor Theatre, and the Brown Building Theatre which are 1.5 blocks down Tate Street toward business district).
OR For parking closer to the Music Bldg., continue on with the following directions:
You'll see Aycock Auditorium on your left at the corner.
Go .4 mile ahead to Carr Street. You'll pass Aycock Auditorium.
Turn left onto Carr Street.
Go 1 (one) block and turn right onto McIver Street. Go 1 (one) block and turn left into McIver Street Parking Deck at New Music Building.

US 29 South
Once in Greensboro, you'll pass without exiting Cone & Summit
Go all the way to Wendover Avenue West exit up the ramp
Merge into the the center lane of Wendover Avenue (the right lane ends beyond the first stoplight!)
Go 2.6 miles to the Westover Terrace exit
Go up the ramp and turn right onto Westover Terrace
Westover Terrace passes Grimsley H.S. and the street name changes to
Aycock Street (you continue straight ahead)
After passing Grimsley H.S., continue on Aycock Street about .9 mile to stoplight at Spring Garden (get into the left turn lane!)
Turn left at light onto Spring Garden
For parking closer to the Theatres, continue on with the following directions:

From highway 421 North, take I-40 West towards Winston-Salem. Take the Freeman Mill Road/Coliseum Area exit, and turn right in Freeman Mill Rd. Turn left at the first stoplight onto Coliseum Boulevard. Follow for approximately 1.5 miles and turn right at third stoplight onto Spring Garden Street. Turn right on Tate Street, and park in the parking lot behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum (corner of Spring Garden and Tate). Aycock Auditorium, Taylor Theatre, and the Brown Building Theatre are 1.5 blocks down Tate Street (toward business district).
OR For parking closer to the Music Bldg., continue on with the following directions:
US 421 North
Take Exit 197 onto I-85 south & I-40 west
Go 3.2 miles to Exit 122 "Greensboro/Asheboro"
On Exit 122, get in right lane and take Exit 122C (North 220 & I-40
Coliseum Area)
Go 2.7 miles to Lovett Street (Lovett Street is just beyond the stoplight at
Coliseum Blvd. - after stoplight, get in left turn lane)
Turn left onto Lovett Street (the street changes names to S. Aycock Street)

Please note all of the directions below direct you to park behind the Weatherspoon Art Museum. This area is only available for weekend performances and any weekday performance after 5 pm.
For school performances where children are being brought in by school bus, please call 336-334-4015 to receive specific loading/unloading information and directions to where the buses will be directed to during the performance.
Individual cars and buses for school day shows must park on the streets or in the parking deck at the corner of McIver and West Market streets.
