Collage

September 9, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Collage: Atlantic Crossings kicks off the new academic year for the UNCG School of Music in spectacular fashion with our 10th annual Greensboro performance on September 9. Atlantic Crossings is an electric celebration of how musical ideas have traveled across the Atlantic Ocean. As an extension of the Atlantic World Arts International Conference: Collision, Fusion, Revision, Collage illustrates how cultures come together in unexpected and exciting ways. From Dvorak’s New World Symphony, to jazzed-up Bach, to sacred music from eighteenth-century Brazil, Collage 2017 will be an unforgettable performance!

Collage is captivating and totally unique, featuring an incredible range of performers presenting one riveting work after another. Over 300 students from the School will perform on the concert, along with many of our world-class faculty members, making this our most spectacular event of the year. With performances taking place all around the auditorium and special lighting effects, it’s a non-stop evening of amazing performances you won’t want to miss!

All ticket proceeds benefit the School of Music Collage Scholarship Fund.

Collage is always completely sold out, so mark your calendar and plan to get your tickets in advance (all seating is reserved).
